Export & Share AI Chats

UniCtx lets you capture, export, and share AI conversations across tools and teammates. Whether you want to preserve a useful debugging session or share a discovery with your team, this guide covers all the ways to do it.

UniCtx preserve the full conversation structure — prompts, responses, tool calls, and file context — so nothing is lost in translation.

Export via CLI

# Export the most recent session as Markdown
uctx export # allows you to select the AI tool and chat to export to UniCtx

Share with teammates

Sharing a chat within your workspace makes it available in the team's shared library. Other team members can view it, react to it and comment on it.

By default, conversations are added to your personal space. To let your teammates see those conversations:

  1. Open the conversation you want to share.
  2. Click More → Settings.
  3. Move this conversation to any team-owned folder.
  4. Click save.
